I am currently seated in the computer lab of my school... in Planning/Bible Class...
Our teacher decided it would be a good idea to clean the computers... ok, thats fine. But the thing that bothers me is our school is obsessed with having a good image probably just cause we are a Christian school. I'm all for picking up garbage and cleaning up unessessary messes but really, scuffs on the walls in a 20 year old school that has never had renos... Kids will be kids, as annoying and badass we attempt to be, we're kids. Another reason why I think my school is obsessed with cleanliness is cause we'll do anything for money. Since we're not the richest school we love to dig for money either through tuition or just random over priced school fees. But the point I'm getting too is, Koreans and Japanese students come to my school for a Canadian education and our school loves how much their willing to pay for tuition. Soo, when Korean families come and visit our school they enjoy making us dance like monkeys just for an image... no wonder everyone thinks Christians are perfect... Truth be told, we are the farthest thing from perfect, we're just forgiven.

oh Erica...so young and yet so insightful. You are an amazing young girl who wears her heart on this blog. You are several years older now, but it is amazing to read this now. I have laughed so hard I cried, and I've cried because you are so real and my heart goes out to you for the things you've experienced growing up...but you have done it admirably my girl and I love you so much
