Well... Today was fun?
To be honest, overall, today was alright but there was some definite moments where things were quite horrid.
First off, theres this guy Kevin, hes in my socials 11 class and he drives me insane. Unfortunely, hes in my group for our parliment assignment, where we have to represent a political party. We were representing the Liberals. One day in class, our teacher explained that he doesn't expect us to agree with our party's beliefs. Like if our party believes in abortion, its not like we dont believe in it also. So ok, we started. I was assigned the speech of our party and Kevin was assigned our political platform which is like what we believe in and what we want to change. So by the end of class I had finished my speech and he had 4 points down on the platform. Me, assuming he got his info from the textbook, my speech and his platform should be alike... man, was i wrong. He had 4 points about changing driving rules....
Today, since he didnt do his work, during class i went onto the government Liberal site to get their beliefs and stuff. I typed up the whole page and printed it. I showed him and he read it saying "ok... ok... ok... hate it... hate it.. ok... ok, thats good." Me, in complete comfusion... I ask him what he means.. He answered "we are a CHRISTIAN SCHOOL!".. once again i ask him what he means...
Since the Liberals believe that there should be no symbols or resemblance of God in public/government places and in same sex marriage, I put these things on my platform... He had a problem with this... After explaining to him that we dont believe this and that we are just representing the Liberals... He got mad about the same sex thing... I could of yelled at him... "I JUST EXPLAINED THIS TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
